Frequently Asked Questions

How do I install a screen saver?

Click Install on any saver in the gallery, or tap "Install All" to get everything at once. The app copies the .saver bundle to ~/Library/Screen Savers automatically. Then click System Settings to activate it.

Which macOS versions are supported?

Screen Saver Gallery requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. It runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and scales perfectly on all displays and external monitors.

How do I uninstall a screen saver?

Click Uninstall on any installed saver in the gallery. Alternatively, open System Settings → Screen Saver, right-click the saver, and choose Delete.

Will screen savers cause burn-in on OLED displays?

The savers continuously animate, so static elements never stay in one place — this is inherently safe for OLED and Pro Display XDR panels.

What does the Pro upgrade include?

Pro unlocks four premium savers: Macaroma (21 themes, liquid glass), FliQ Flip Clock (9 colour themes), Qotuf (12 scenes with Arabic calligraphy and prayer times), and Noir Night. All future premium savers are also included.

Are future screen savers included with Pro?

Yes. All future premium savers are included. Monthly and Yearly subscribers have access while their subscription is active. Lifetime buyers retain access permanently.
